Whitehall Beautification and Garden Club
We would like to thank the club for their beautifully decorated Christmas tree and manger scene placed in the lounge area of the library. The decorations are all hand made of dried flowers and various other plants, and the candle lights truly accentuate its beauty. Our picture doesn't really do it justice - please come by and admire this group's wonderful work. The group also plants flowers for us around the grounds every year adding even more to the enjoyment of the library.
The Whitehall Beautification and Garden Club invites you to participate in a unique experience!
The club was started in 1990 and has planted at locations such as the public library, the township golf course, the Grimm homestead, Whitehall Parkway, and the police building. WBGC sponsors an annual Arbor Day planting, wildlife ornament making party and Christmas party, private tours, and speakers at monthly meetings. WBGC members also participate in activities too numerous to mention. The group is always looking for new ways and new people to help beautify Whitehall Township.
Membership privileges include a monthly agenda/newsletter, private garden tours, speakers at monthly meetings, plant raffles, and meeting others who are also interested in keeping our township beautiful.
Meetings are held at 7 PM, the 3rd Monday of the month, at 506 Mickley Road (Grimm Homestead). Project Days fall on the Saturday following the meeting, at 1 PM.
Membership dues are $10 for January through December; $5 after June 1st. To join, please send a check for the appropriate amount, as well as your name, address, and telephone number to:
